Belated Birthday Wishes

Sometimes life gets a little busy and time flies by before you know it.  That's what happened at the beginning of the year when I missed my brother's birthday! (#badsister).

But, I finally had time to create a card for him.

Here is the card that I created:

My brother loves cute dogs and calls them his "Little Friend", so of course, I had to include this adorable dog from Mama Elephant's Playful Pups stamp set.  I used a stencil to create a subtle background with Old Paper Distress Ink that just sort of fades away on the sides, and used my Copics to color the dog (E13, E17, E19, E50, E53, E55, E29 and R29) and his bowl (C1, C3, C5, E53, E55, E57).  I also used Simon Says Stamp's Stitched Rectangle Dies and Pretty Pink Posh's Speech Bubble Dies.

Clearly this dog has been distracted with other thoughts, which is why his birthday wishes were late :)
