Thinking of You

Sometimes life is just not fair and little bundles of joy are taken to heaven before they even take a breath of air :(  It is this time of year that I make a card for my cousins who lost their angel, Lana Marie in this way.

It's such a sad time of year, but it's always good to remember loved one who are no longer with us, so I made this card...

I first die cut the background using Simon Says Stamp's This is Life Frame dies and created the background using my Winsor & Newton professional water colour tube paints.  I added the blue wash on top, then the green wash, but went back and added the little poofs of darker spots to add some texture.  I then die cut the jar from Lawn Fawn's Bugs and Kisses set out of the left side of that background, taped on a piece of acetate behind it, and then adhered the piece that was die cut behind it and then added the branch and lady bug.  I then stamped the jar lid, copic colored it, and adhered it on top.  Finally, I added the sentiment from SSS' Sending Happy Thoughts set, using my MISTI.
