Quilter's Weekend

This weekend was filled with Quilts. On Saturday, mom and I went to the 'Road to California' quilt show where I bought all kinds of things and was inspired by lots of beautiful quilts. Some of the displayed quilts were just breathtaking and remind me what an amateur I am! lol

Sunday, it was back to reality! I was determined to finish the main part of my quilt top (sans borders) and I managed to do it - yay!!

I have, however, come to the realization that although I may be able to finish the top and backing before the wedding, there isn't time to get it quilted :::sigh::: I will have to think of a creative way to present it to them without the real deal - time to get my paper crafting skills going!
