"Gilbert" the Elephant and Craftin Desert Divas Linky Party

Hello Friends!

First, I am super excited to announce that I have joined the Craftin Desert Divas Design Team!  This is the first time I've done anything like this and I'm besides myself with excitement and nervousness!  I will do the very best I can and hope that I can live up to the awesomeness that the DT exudes every day!

My first project is for the new Linky Party this week!  The theme for this Linky Party is "Shake it Up"!  We would love to see all of your projects that fit this theme!  So go ahead and craft it and link it up on the Craftin Desert Divas Blog.

Here is the card that I created:

I was a little scared about making my first shaker card - but felt confident that I've seen enough videos about them that I knew exactly what to do!  So I started with that super adorable Elephant stamp, Copic colored him and die cut him.  I then took a pre-made watercolored background and started to map out where to place the sentiment and the shaker balloon.  Die cut the balloon and used the cut piece to place behind the die cut so that it wasn't stark white behind.  Added my foam tape, filled it up with coordinating sequins and popped it all up on a card base.
