Lovely Layers - Denami Blog Hop

Ahhhh, summertime - gotta love it! Can you believe that this year is going by so fast?? Before we know it, it will be Christmas! But for now, it's time for another DeNami Blog Hop

After seeing patriotic colors everywhere, I was really drawn to red, so I picked a border bunch and then ended up staring at the empty canvas for a long time. Finally, I decided to do something floral, and went into my embellishment drawer and found the blue flower. Well, of COURSE I wasn't going to use this blue flower because I didn't think it went well with red, I just wanted to use the shape and size. I then created the elements around it and after a while, the blue grew on me and I decided to keep it on the card - funny how things happen sometimes, huh?
