This week, I'm entering a card in another of Play Date Cafe's beautiful color inspired challenges - this time, black & white with a splash of green! Fun, huh??
Here is the card I made:
With this card, I knew I wanted to create the background, but wanted to do something a little different, so I made 4 mini backgrounds, stamped in white & embossed. For the centerpiece, I knew I wanted to stamp something green and add some bling, so I played around with it and ended up with this - hope it's not *too* blingy!
Stamps: Dotty Daisy (Stampendous), Funky Floral (Lizzie Anne Designs), Paisley (Hero Arts), Floral Cling Stamp Set (Unknown)
Paper: Black, White, and Leaf Green (DeNami Design)
Ink: Tuxedo Black and Bamboo Leaves (Memento), Paper White (Fresh Ink)
Misc: Marvy Punch, Circle Scissor (EK Success), Jewels, Embossing Powder (Stamp LaJolla)
Cheers!
Lin :)

ReplyDeleteI love your four panels and the embossing. The center image and sentiment is beautifully done. Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteLin, I like making my own background paper with stamps, too. These images look like fancy drawings on a chalkboard. Cool! :) Thanks for playing with us at The Play Date Cafe!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful with all of its blingy-ness! Thanks so much for playing along at The Play Date Cafe.
ReplyDeleteOoh I like the colors. And the bling, of course! ;)
