Auntie Eiko

Most of the cards I make are for happy occasions (birthday, wedding, thank you) or Holidays, but once in a while, I need to make a sympathy card. I try to make it simple, but pretty. Last week, my Auntie Eiko passed away unexpectedly. This is the card I made:

Auntie's funeral service was so nice - the eulogies, the hymns, the floral arrangements and the slideshow with many family pictures I've never seen before. Auntie was a big Lakers fan and the night of her service, the Lakers beat the Phoenix Suns in triple overtime, 139-137. I know that she was smiling down on them!

Stamps: Scallop Tulip Circle and Leafy Vine (DeNami Design), "With Sympathy" (Hero Arts)
Paper: White, Petal Pink and Burgundy (DeNami Design)
Ink: Dark Peony (ColorBox)
Misc: Pink Grosgrain Ribbon (DeNami Design), Marvy Punches, Rose Pink and Leaf Green Promarkers
